This Block DockTM is 8.45cm wide, 5.6cm tall and 3.7cm deep and weighs just 26 grams. She fits bars up to 3cm in depth – the shortest side of your bar. Place your bar at the front of the Block Dock when new, let it lean to the back as it changes size and shape with use.
Slim is an especially good fit for Ethique conditioner and face bars, Ecostore soap bars, Fair+Square Soapery hair, face and body bars and most of the handmade bars you may find at markets. She'll cradle them to their very last sliver.
The Block Dock comes with a pvc suction cup for mounting to clean surfaces that are smooth and non-porous (acrylic, non-coated glass, mirror, vitreous china, many smooth shiny tiles but not all). Wet the back with water before sticking.
Suction cups won't stick to rough or porous surfaces, like textured tiles or paint because they can't form the vacuum needed to work. Take a look at our mounting options here. It is rare to buy a product and be as pleased with it as I am with my Bock Docks. They are life changing for me as a shampoo and soap bar user. I was at my wits end about how to manage perennially wet and degrading bars...until I got Block Docks! My bars now store really well in an accessible place on the shower wall, lasting longer and giving me more washes per bar. I use the Block Dock Slim for my Ethique conditioner bar.
Looks smart and clean while preserving my bars
This is our third block dock....we have a good old docking station in our shower now. Our bathroom transformation to plastic bottle free is now complete. Feels great to be doing something good for the planet....and our block dock makes the transition easy and stylish. Thanks for the wee gift soft too!

I purchased my first block dock a year or so ago and have been using it for my body soap!! I love it, then as a spur of the moment I purchased some block shampoo and conditioner. As the daughter of a hairdresser I have been led to believe that the only ‘right’ shampoo and conditioner is one in a bottle!! Enter ethique!! The only problem is it disintegrated in the shower… remembering that block dock saved my soap I raced off to purchase a ‘slim’ for my awesome new conditioner!! INCREDIBLE!!
Absolutely love the block dock. We now have 4 in our house for soap, toddler soap, shampoo and conditioner. I want to get them for all of my friends to convince them to abandon plastic bottles. I have super thick curly hair and was sceptical about switching to a shampoo bar but it works brilliantly. And now I have less clutter in the shower that’s tricky to clean and no more slimy soap. Thank you for inventing this!
Perfect for my Ethique shampoo and conditioner bars
Love the product, as I feel doing one small thing for the planet is positive. The block dock is stylish and suits our bathroom and needs wonderfully.
Initially, I did think expensive, however in consideration of less plastic in the world it is worth it and feeling good about small changes is the bonus.
